Easy Google Profits Scam!

OK, people. Here is the skinny on making a profit with Google. I want to start off this post by telling you that I myself am a successful Google AdSense publisher. I know from experience that it is a hard way to make an easy living.

There is no secret to making money with Google AdSense. Furthermore, there is no system that can supplement nor automate the creation of compelling, information-rich, and or unique content. It you want to get rich quick, play the lottery. However, if you want to join the legions of hard-working men and women that make their living as Google AdSense publishers, get ready to work.

There are many free tools and applications that can help you get started. I use both Google’s Blogger as well as RantRave.com. There is an inherent benefit to each, which I will briefly explain.

The upside of using Blogger is that 100 percent of the traffic is yours. However, therein lies the problem. One of the biggest challenges facing any new AdSense publisher is generating traffic to their website. It takes time, a basic knowledge of SEO, sufficient inbound links from other websites or applications, and a little luck to attain first page rank in any of the major search engines. However, if you happen to have knowledge and or expertise on a specific topic of interest to the general public it is worth the effort. Patience is a virtue, especially to those looking to make Easy Google Profits.

The upside of RantRave.com is that you, the publisher, can leverage both the site’s user base as well as the Google News user base. Many of the site’s posts are syndicated across the Google News network leading a dramatic increase in exposure.

I often visit Google Trends to see what the popular topics of the day are. “Easy Google Profits Scam” happens to be a hot topic lately. This topic hits very close to home for me, a Google AdSense publisher, so I figured I would throw in my two cents.

36 months ago: How much does it cost to get in the "network" for all of the links? How many websites do you currently run selling "Work at Home and Make $$$" once you pay my subscribtion fee to tell you about adsense and send you a DVD with shipping and handling fees?

It is a scam and will always be a scam.

It does things like charge you about $100 on the 30th day of your "trial," and the subscription trial is very difficult to cancel. You need to call them and MAIL BACK your CD to cancel the trial. Come on! I'm surprised facebook allows advertisements on it's page for such a scam.
33 months ago: Google Profits is a complete scam. They charge you a $1.97 charge for a cd, which I never received, and then a man called me and wanted to talk about the company but would never give actual answers to any of my questions. I then told him that I did not believe this was the company for me. Two days later I was charged $47.50. I called the 877 number and the charge is unreversable.
33 months ago: I just signed up for something similar to yours, Suzie Q, and boy they did send me a cd labeled "GoogleProfits", and phone no. on it(no. is 1866-995-9812. Haven't called them yet but popped in the cd, to find out it doesn't even work!! I thought it was my configuration because that's what the screen says. I think it's a scam

33 months ago: I have just been scammed by Google Profits. I ordered the CD and told them in a phone call that I did not want to participate in their program. 10 Days after the $1.97 CD shipping charge I was charged $47.50 and 10 days later $99.00. I had to cancel my credit card to get the charges stopped.

33 months ago: I too was scammed. I only wanted to find out how the program worked. Nothing on the website that I ordered the $1.97 CD said anything about further charges. 10 days later I was charged $47.50 and I immediately canceled my card. 5 days later I finally got through to GoogleProfits to be told "too bad - it stated I had 10 days to cancel".
32 months ago: Me too, I got totally scammed. Ordered the cd for the same reason as Rita C- wanted to see how it worked, and didn't see anything about future charges.

I get the cd and never look at it. Who cares? It was only $1.97 I tell myself. Until a month later when I see a charge to my debit of $99, by "UNKNOWN 877-479-9818". I Call the bank because I don't remember making a $99 purchase, but I could be wrong, so tell me what they can see as far as details go. They tell me "On the back end, the merchant name came through as GoogleHomeez.com, and with a telephone number of 877-479-9818. They also appear to be based in GB (Great Britain). If you don't recognize the charge, you may want to call the number and see if they can tell you anything that might jog your memory."

I get the bad feeling. GoogleHomeez? Google PROFITS, arrrrg! I call the number and actually get a rep, who tells me I missed the grace period for the refund, which was listed in the terms & conditions I didn't see. So, I learned a valuable lesson and will not be doing this again. She supposedly cancelled my account and gave me a confirmation number, but I will be watching my statements from here on out.

One word on their tactics that sold me-They linked to a "news article" from a local Tribune in my area. After researching the scam elsewhere, I learned that the article is indeed fake, and is generated based on your info somehow. They had tribune articles from all over the country, none of which were real. Dont do it!!!

If you cant get to the CD right away and read over all of the useless info they put on the CD to see if the program will actually work it is not much of a trial period in the first place. This is the problem I ran into. So the mere fact that they do not give you enough time to work the product upset me. I did not get scammed too badly though, because I used a reloadable card. Here is the trick buy a couple of Visa or Mastercard reloadable cards load money onto them then wait to recieve the card in the mail with your name on it dont use the temp one you buy in the store those usually don't work, you have to wait to get the card they will send you in the mail, it will have your name on it (That's why you should buy a couple). Then you can apply for offers and if you dont like the offer after the trial just make sure you take out whatever money you have left on the card and cancel your membership at that point you can decide whether you want to keep the card or discard it no money lost and your bank account is not in jeopardy of being ripped off. If you like the product then you just make sure you have enough to cover the cost of whatever you buying.
To those people still looking to make a little money online. There is one way you. No you dont have to spend a dime there are no trial periods and you will not get rich, but you will make an extra hundred or two, which always helps. Here is the site

30 months ago: Yea they got me too. Their misleading tactics caused me to believe they were affiliated with google.com. In a disclaimer at the bottom of an ad says they are not. In small print I might add. This company uses misleading advertising to get desperate people to sign up then they charge you for things not presented in a forthright manner but are hidden in a lengthy terms and conditions statement. They also encourage their subscribers to use misleading tactics to get hits on the posts they make. How a company can continue in this manner without legal ramifications escapes me. In any case, I was charged $99.00 for CD's I never recieved after I had cancelled over the phone. I was given a cancellation confirmation number as well and was assured that I would incurr no further charges other than the $1.99 s&h on the kit that was never sent because I cancelled before it was sent. This caused an overdraft in my checking account. I filed a fraud form at my bank. I hope that the people working for this entity sleep well at night. As far as Bushtit's comments about it not being easy. Well they advertise that it is easy so there is another fraudulent claim. Thank you for reading this. Hope a lawyer or someone can do something about this pack of rats.

29 months ago: Yes, I am yet another person who foolishly signed up for this. I remember after I did I thought to myself "What the heck did I just do? I know better! That website was one of those 'gaudy' ones." I read what appeared to be an online news article about it, and it all seemed legit. Of course, I was eventually charged $1.97, $47.50 and $99.00. I apparently waited too long (I think I had two weeks) to contest the $47.50 charge (which they said was a monthly fee for the program) and it would have been reimbursed, but again, I waited too long. So I sucked that charge up. I cancelled my account with them (so they told me) and then about a month and a half later I was charged $99.00 for a "one time fee."

Nowhere did I read at any time anywhere that I would be assessed these charges/fees (other than $1.97 for the CD). I called them and asked to speak with a supervisor (the call taker initially told me that a partial reimbursement was authorized, but I insisted on receiving a complete reimbursement and to speak with her supervisor). The supervisor said I would be reimbursed the $99.00 in the next 3 to 5 business days. So we'll see what happens with this.

If you happened to fall prey to this shady company, make sure you dispute your charges RIGHT AWAY, and HOLD ONTO THAT CD TOO, and CANCEL YOUR ACCOUNT! They said that a person is charged the $99.00 if you don't return the CD within a 30 day or so period You can the CD that you held onto as leverage if they want to resist your claims to have your credit card reimbursed.

Tell a friend about these people! Friends don't let friends sign up for google profits!

28 months ago: I signed up for googleprofits, I was charged $47.50 for an unrelated service I didn't even know about. They were happy to cancel the service, but refused to return my money telling me there was sufficient evidence to show I knew I was signing up for it. The fine print on this must have been so small it needed a magnifying glass, because I knew what I had in my account, and would not have signed up had I known I was going to be charged more! This is a SCAM people, read carefully, and between all lines before you sign up for this!
