What is Double Helix Water?
Double Helix Water is an extraordinarily expensive way to buy 'special' drinking water that will allegedly provide some ill-defined health benefit while skirting aroung getting in trouble with the Food and Drug Administration.

What are the proven health benefits of Double Helix Water as opposed to drinking normal water?
None.

Where does Double Helix Water come from?
It is brought to us by the people who brought us "Laundry Balls", "fuel saving crystals" and more, Mr David Gann and Dr. Shiu-Yin Lo. Some might see a pattern, here.

Are these people research scientists or serial marketers of magic products with no demonstrable basis or effect?
You might have to work that out for yourself. Check the links below.

What are the proven health benefits of Double Helix Water as opposed to drinking normal water?
None.

How is Double Helix Water different from any of the hundreds of schemes involving quack medicine and 'special' water?
It incorporates the wisdom of Scientologist David Gann, and the homeopathy, qi, and acupuncture of Dr Shiu-Yin Lo with 'special' science water and microscopes.

Can Double Helix Water deliver a full dose of placebo effect?
Yes. But only if you believe in it.

Does the Double Helix website feature people wearing lab coats and people claiming special secret knowledge rejected by mainstream science?
Yes.

Does the Double Helix website feature anything that might suggest someone would be well advised to but this water and drink it?"
No.

How can I find out more?
Buy the book written by the people who make the water.

Can't they tell me up front, so I don't have to buy the book?
No.

Does the book set out any legitimate reason to reject the idea that the whole business might be based on delusion?
No.

Let's assume for a minute that you are actually going to buy water with so called "stable crystals" in it. If these crystals are real, is there any reason to think you should be ingesting them?
No. Electricity is real, too, but electro-quackery therapy doesn't work, either.

Do the proponents of this water have any logical reasons to favor the idea that this 'special' water actually improves health, rather than the equally random idea that it actually increases the likelihood of getting cancer?
Yes. But they seem to be mainly financial ones.

I can make my own 'water crystals' at home by putting water in the freezer. Is this as good as double Helix Water?
There is no reason to suspect that your home made 'water crystals' are any less effective than Double Helix Water in 'addressing' Cancer, Diabetes and Brain Tumors.

How do I know if someone has subsititued normal water for my Double Helix Water?
Good question.

Should I buy Double Helix Water?
Your money, your choice.

If anybody is thinking of buying the water, you'll probably be interested in getting a few bars of Le-Mar reducing soap:

Nice soap.
20 months ago: Probably just as special as buying all the water you drink in plastic bottles, and just as useless.

My water comes out of a hole in the ground, haven't died of thirst and health is as good as a fat man can expect so I won't be needing any of this stuff, ever.

Blindey, is it you?
20 months ago: I don't think it's dear old Blindey. If you look at the picture from the other side, you'll see this duck has two, functional eye looky things.

We loved old Blindey so much we got him a glass eye and some cosmetic surgery, looks good doesn't he?
20 months ago: He looks scarcely older than a duckling.
