Delay at Copenhagen

A nine hour delay at Copenhagen meeting. Top bankers like..

"Lord Stern, who has had a strong hand in developing the proposal, said it was "strong and reasonable".

"The rich countries should give their strong support to the Meles plan, which has been put forward by an African leader with the interests of developing countries at its heart."

Problem arises is why the World Bank has a hand and say in all this? Is this all about money? Many other financial worry warts like..

"Earlier, UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown conceded that a deal might not be achievable here.

But, he added: "If you don't get an agreement this week, people will doubt whether you can get an agreement at all.""

If you ask me I hope their scam falls to pieces and hope the real reason such a rush is needed comes to surface. Maybe that it is a good way to limit already small hurting countries, to keep them in their place. Instead of war it is much easier to suck these small countries dry of all further development. Greed plays a huge role. All disgusting if you ask me. Read the full story here..

26 months ago: I think it is funny that all of their "doom and gloom" predictions have caused the lesser developed countries to jump on the "you owe us" for our oppression train.

China and India will never agree to legally enforceable terms which will strangle their booming growth. They will also not agree to pay the bill.

I give it a 30% shot right about now. Is Obamas hat big enough to pull this rabbit out?

26 months ago: So then what happens with that 100 billion dollars a year that Hillary is vowing to give away with "full transparency"?

The writing is on the wall. It is a shame no one bothers looking at the wall any longer. Either that or they are mindfully illiterate.
