I have a few questions about the Obama "declaration of sindependence" (as some have coined it), what do we do with all the other months... are they "strait" months? IF Obama was to declare July the the "strait" month of the year... what kind of bigoted, intolerant and hateful person would he be? Sin as defined by the Bible is "missing the mark" ...surely Christians are guilty of sin (speech) against the liberal agenda... guilty of sin (crimes) against peoples right to choice... and guilty of sin (disagreement) against people against the Bible and Christians...
Why does Obama and his liberal pundits feel the need to give special privileges to a group that already have recognition and human rights protection? Doing this only causes people to resist this religious liberalism against traditional families... who BTW, did give us this generation, that has the freedom to stand free... on either side of this issue.
IT is the favoritism that diminishes the very "equality" preached by Priest Obama.
Honest to God, I don't wear "strait pride" T-shirts or wave anti-gay signs or hand out anti LGBT literature... I just don't agree. I am not a "protester" outside your supermarket nor on the street-corner declaring "strait" anything... so why does a leader of a nation need to slam in the faces of the world his religious beliefs? He has become the Priest of the ABC Religion (Anything But Christ), and has declared it to the world! Separation of Church and State? Hogwash! This is a State-paid Religion designed to rid the Nation of it's freedom FROM other religions... is this really a Declaration of Sindependence?
What makes the WEST great is that we have freedom of speech... but when a WORLD leader draws a line in the sand and declares a LGBT month, what stops him from declaring a LGBT year the next time? Or a national "identity" as LGBT?? IF you think you have freedoms when this happens... you are sadly mistaken! Will the future of America be declared... LGBT States of America? What is going on people?
Canada is the most liberal nation that I know of... well, we just took second place. We at least have the freedoms to believe one way or the other... America your choices have just been made for you! The "...great American promise that all people can live with dignity and fairness under the law" ...has just been destroyed by your own President!
IN the video of Obama's speech, he refers to this declaration as "impositions of conscience" for the purpose of "opening hearts" ...IF you didn't get that, it is an imposition of conscience or morality... and anything that is not in agreement will be deemed immoral or unconscionable and punishable under hate crimes legislation.
He has just legislated the illegalisation of the "morality" of the majority of our nations... and has called for the repeal of the "Defense of Marriage Act" ...another "faith-based" move on that of the liberals.

IF there is no provision under current laws to protect someone from prejudices, then there needs to be provision. Laws and definitions don't need to be rewritten in order to provide protection... wording can include those of certain orientation without redefining traditional terms, orientation and definitions.
IF America keeps on this course we can see that the segment of the community that is "conservative" will be "demonised" and deemed in contravention to national security. What is next... declaring the traditional family terrorists? Someone said that conservatives are "faith based' and liberals "fact based" ...well Obama has now determined what "faith" Americans are allowed to base their "facts" on,
with his "impositions of conscience" ...anyone in contravention of this liberal-faith will be guilty of Sin against the State... punishable by a god of the State...
