Well, it's looking good for marijuana legalization! I can only hope that this bill will pass for California - as the state desperately needs money for its debt.

It's about damn time, too. I'm hoping that other states will follow in Cali's footsteps, but I doubt mine (Texas) will for a long time. There's no reason that a plant that can help fight cancer, heart disease, liver disease, osteoporosis, and diabetes should be illegal.

The drug war causes more problems than it solves. Not to mention, the federal government has no right to tell us what we can and can't consume. Our rights have been violated for almost 80 years, and it's high (giggle) time we get them back!

Sounds like a heck of a high tax on the pot so young uns won't be able to afford it so it won't lead to worse drugs. California often leads the nation in societal shifts. If this works it will spread to other states.

I get your points.

Tennessee's largest cash crop.

However, I keep think about our children.

There have been conclusive medical studies correlating cannabis with helping prevent heart disease, etc.

What is more important is for you to know that we have to free these millions of POT prisoners.

Why? Because the government has used Americans prisoners as an economic asset for their own profit.

The more prisoner, the more they make for themselves.
