This woman had a serious beef. Apparently an unidentified woman in Kansas City really really did not like her hamburger. So she returned more than the hamburger, tossing a bucket of water, WET FLOOR signs and cash registers. Police have released the video, in hope of bringing her to justice.
It reminds me of the old joke about McDonalds that was a spinoff of their old ad campaign back in the 70's. Someone tossed a rock through their window with a piece of paper wrapped around it that said "You deserve a brick today."
I once had a complaint in a pizza shop. My pizza was reheated and not at all fresh. So I asked the guy behind the counter, Excuse me sir, but who was president when you made this pizza?"
I asked a friend of mine who worked in a luncheonette if he was the one I saw shooting stray cats at the back of the store.
The one time I really lost my temper was with a taxi driver. I don't live in the nicest part of town, and some drivers (illegally) refuse to go there. I had about four drivers refuse to take me to where I was going. The next driver said he would not take me where I was going. I had both hands on the door to his taxi. When he told me he would not take me, I slammed the taxi door shut as hard as I could. The guy was furious. He started shouting and cursing, but when he saw my face, he screeched away in his taxi as fast as he could go.
Another time, I took my daughter to a news stand to buy a soda on a hot day. They had hard cover porn at eye level to my child. I told her to wait outside, and then I asked the guy "Sir, do you sell this crap in your own country?"
Before he could answer, I told him "If you have so much contempt for people in this country that you display this garbage where everyone can see it, why don't you go back to where you came from? Do you think we're dogs? I ain't buyin **** from you."
Another guy I ratted out to my City Councilman in the district where I work. (Noach Dear) He arranged for an undercover, underage person to buy beer from the guy. So he lost his liquor licence.
I stay within the law. But I have a mouth. And I'm not afraid to use it. There is never any reason to break the law when customer service won't give you satisfaction. There are plenty of ways of sounding off, and just as many ways to get even.
