All the sports blogs are reporting that Ben Roethlisberger is being investigated for an alleged sexual assault in a club, Capital City. Ben Roethlisberger's accuser's identity has been shielded from media attention, but Amber Hanley has made sure that people know what she thinks of the Super Bowl star.
The Amber Hanley/Ben Roethlisberger photo on the left was apparently taken the night that the sexual assault took place. The authorities are investigating.
The AP says that Amber Hanley asked Ben Roethlisberger to take a photo with her boyfriend, but:
β¦he seemed disappointed that's all she wanted. Amber Hanley said she rolled her eyes, and Roethlisberger called her an expletive and walked away. Later, Ben Roethlisberger was aggressively hitting on another girl, Amber Hanley said.
Hey, Ben Roethlisberger hasn't even been charged with a crime. We don't know how this will all shake out. But why is a Super Bowl champion drinking with a bunch of 20 year olds in some crappy club? He's got a 100 million dollar contract β can't he find a classier group of people?
Of course, this isn't the first time Big Ben has been accused of sexual assault. In 2008, he dealt with a similar situation after Andrea McNulty claimed he raped her. Later, it was revealed that Andrea McNulty had bragged to a friend about having consensual sex with Roethlisberger.
