They have been seen all over the country, infestation of bed bugs in offices, homes, condos, movie theaters, hotels, second hand furniture and even restaurants. The blood sucking creatures are everywhere. Unfortunately, their favorite victims are humans. They will feast on human blood by the hundreds at any given time.

The life cycle of bed bug is 10 months; some have been known to live up to one year. They lay eggs indoors. One female bed bug can lay up to 500 eggs. They actually lay 3-8 eggs at a time. Bed bugs favorite place to lay eggs are near humans. They will find cracks and crevices to deposit a cluster of eggs. The eggs take up to 12 days to hatch. It takes bed bugs 32-48 days to become adults. Now you can see why infestation is swift. Did you know that bed bugs can survive up to seven months without one single drop of blood? Yes. It's true.

Bed bugs do not feed on anything else other than blood. They do not spread any known infections to humans. If you are bitten by bed bugs, you will feel itchy with swelling and inflammation on the skin. If the itchiness is unbearable, take some antihistamines or apply some cortisone cream on the skin. If it still persist, see your doctor for treatment.

We are very proactive and inspect daily for the unwanted guests. It is our practice to let any potential guest inspect the room they will be staying in before purchase; we want our guests to feel comfortable and confident that they will have clean, healthy quarters in which to stay. As for me when I travel, I thoroughly inspect my room for all pests no matter where I'm staying; better safe than sorry.

11 months ago: As long as you are not here my home is pest free.

It may ruin your sheets, but it will kill anything that touches the genetically mutated oil.

I tell it like it is, I pull no punches, tell no lies, and I am as I am

I remember, back in the day, When there no such thing as bed bug medicine. In the civil war our tents and shacks had every sort of bug known to human kind. What we did to keep the bugs away was to smear ones self all over with horse s**t. Because the horse fly was a big bug, it ate all the little bugs. So all we had to do was swat the horse fly away.
