According to an "article" in Saturday's British tabloid, "The Sun": "Victoria called in the money expert to overhaul their finances because she feared the high-spending lifestyle was inappropriate at a time when ordinary people are tightening their belts."
The report states that their current staff of 50 servants (aka employees), managing their four estates in England, Los Angeles, Dubai and the South of France, was an unnecessary financial burden. 14 people were given the sack, replaced by more "cost-effective" foreign staff (aka illegal immigrants, which is purely my interpretation)
Apparently, one of the chauffeurs has to double-up and do gardening (or vice versa) as well, which I find totally unacceptable. Where are the labor unions when you need them?
Experts say, the Beckhams could continue to employ 50 people but it's a waste of money. How does that song go again: when the going gets tough, the tough get going? And Victoria Beckham is nothing if not a mean........person.
If we can't rely on fame whore gazillionaires to keep the economy going, what's the point of all these tax cuts for the rich?
David Beckham is currently in Milan, Italy for his three-month loan out to AC Milan. Victoria is currently also in Milan to visit her friends, Dolce and Gabbana. True story.
