Of all the places to confirm that chivalry has finally been put to rest, the Lone Star State would not the be the first come to mind. The evidence for this fact is the linked YouTube video and it reveals a heinous act of cowardice at what is ironically known as Minute Maid Park and the home stadium of the lowly Houston Astros.
The videos shows a young man attempting to catch a lined foul ball while shielding his girlfriend but at the last second, years of adolescent conditioning kicks and he frightfully dodges the balls, thus allowing his blonde beauty of a girlfriend to suffer the painful consequences.
While I admit to making a mere educated guess, my intuition tells me that the young man's adolescent conditioning did not include playing baseball except on a video game console while wearing a baseball cap like a D-bag, and the result was, "OMG, there's a real baseball coming at me - I need to bail!"
