As a parent of 5 children and one who has also seen the differing effects on my children, vaccines are not as "safe" as doctors have said. Our second oldest had a very severe reaction to an early shot... and screamed for 3 days, we were scared we were going to lose her. Two of our children got whooping cough even after being vaccinated... and got it worse than the ones that didn't get the shot.
In my wifes family... her (would be) older sister died only days after having her earliest shot... and the doctors stated they feared my wife would have died too, if she had received the shot. It seems especially if there is a weakness or allergy... vaccines can be lethal, yet there have been many others reported that poor health was not a factor in adverse reactions. My concern is that we too often trust the medical "practice" with our lives and those of our children... when indeed the system is by in-large a medical practice. Getting educated is primary.
Many parents today are in fear of autism being linked to vaccines... the physical pain is of the least concern, when considering the weighty long-term health risks. Parents many times sell themselves short... they know when something is wrong, and many parents have expressed concern and out-right protest to vaccination... with little support from pediatricians. When one considers the money pharmaceutical companies pump into the medical industry... it seems that they will be the ones making the rules, and seeing to it that the doctors must promote their products.
Think about it... pharmaceutical companies are protected by the government against lawsuits... the only one who can protect your child is you.
