"Research found that the increased cancer risk was present even with a moderate amount of drinking. Of the 13,000 cancer cases in a year attributed to alcohol consumption in Britain, 6,000 were cancers of the mouth and throat, 3,000 were colorectal cancers, and 2,500 were breast cancer."

Just another reason to stop drinking. What good is alcohol? What great benefit has it brought to families and communities? My brother was killed by a drunk driver, and somehow the comfort that many know how to handle their intake... doesn't stop the stats from ratcheting up more experience like my own.

It would seem that when we were young we had to have a drink to prove that we were men... now some 20 years later we need to quit to prove the very same thing.

Don't Drink.

...or at least don't drink and drive.
