The National Defense Authorization Act (S-1867) is a scarecrow set up for President Obombasta to easily knock over, pretending to condemn executive powers already codified and enacted by the Patriot Act and similar unconstitutional abuses of power.
President Obombasta validated S-1867 by simply acknowledging it. If he signs it into law, President Obombasta is constrained by the Geneva Conventions, and can therefore only legally imprison, not torture or kill, anyone he chooses. If he vetoes it, President Obombasta retains control of vaster, unchecked powers, whereby he can legally imprison, torture and kill anyone he deems to be a threat.
While 99ers and all American citizens are at our weakest, and begging for help, President Obombasta is recklessly spending billions of tax dollars on illegal wars in the Middle East and around the world, and doing his best to bring the war on terror back home, against Americans.
