99ers Predicted To Die In 2012 By Maya - Tier 5 Now!

A recently unearthed and translated Maya stele predicted the creation of a class of unemployed, yet highly skilled workers in America, sometime after the turn of the 21st century. The prophecy has come true. Millions of Americans, now known as 99ers, were forcibly removed from their careers during the past two years.

More alarmingly, the ancient monument predicted the utter destruction of 99ers in 2012, unless an unprecedented wave of national pride should sweep across America via the extension of Tier 5 Unemployment Benefits to all victims of the financial genocide now known around the world as Holocaust 2011.

Imagine the shame felt by the perpetrators of the first Holocaust in Germany who looked the other way while their family, friends and neighbors were led away to the slaughter.

Americans must not make the same mistake.

America is the wealthiest and most powerful nation on Earth. There is absolutley no need to let millions of 99ers and their familes starve and freeze to death this winter.

Tier 5 Unemployment Benefits must be extended to all 99ers immediately.

It's a sin to stand by idle while another man is dying.

Continue on with your rediculous worthless arguments about counting someome elses pennies. This is the last time I will write on this site. It's a shame a few irresponsible people made it worthless and took over. That's why our Country is in this mess. People who will write only to hear their own thoughts ring in their ears with no concern whether or not it is beneficial to anyone. Good luck to all of you.

Sunny, what exactly have you offered here? I was looking through all the articles you posted to Rant Rave and the cupboard looks empty. Perhaps you thought that Rant Rave would be a 99er echo chamber and to some extent it did by virtue of numbers. However, to dismiss other subjects and perspectives as 'nothing that really matters' while exiting the group and accusing people of only wanting to hear their own thoughts is almost amusing in a pot calling out the kettle manner.

You would be a silly fool standing in front of the World saying that if you knew me. I'll have a good laugh at this one. If you don't understand, and you think in this small capacity, then you are part of the problem. When people care about something, then it is tangible and real. I don't care what you say or think. Yes, I am trying to listen to what everyone is saying and everything they say is important to me. You can't provoke me.

I have written letters and contacted representatives and no one has ever gotten back to me. I have laid out my problems and my shortcomings to everyone and it has made no difference. We need to stick together and keep up the pressure so someone will hear us.

If you do flag a post and it's patently clear what the problem is, you'll need to explain why and we don't remove posts because you disagree with them.
14 months ago: @Markbryn

It's presumptive to think that the post was flagged because someone disagrees don't you think? Unemployment is extremely important. However, upon the recent happenings here at RR, I also think that you guys are missing something. I've provided an RR Alexa link more than once to show the traffic change - mainly the lean toward certain terms like 99ers, tier 5, unemployment, unemployment benefits.

Yep, I have 2-3 articles using those words, but I also provided content. It seems these are just repeats w/current events. At first, I empathized, offered my experience about how to eat when homeless (his post on rodents and leather). Unfortunately, I just saw more posts that equal a bunch of similar RRs w/repetitive keywords.

Blaming RRs who didn't actually contribute to RR's Google problems is unfair and misleading other members.

@Cypress, since you are so concerned about Google rules and all, why haven't you caught on to the keyword stuffing? Adding popular terms in mishmash is a black hat SEO technique.

Whether it's on purpose or accident, it's still contributes to the problem.

Here's the Spamdexing definition from Wikipedia:

Spamdexing (also known as search spam, search engine spam or web spam)[1] involves a number of methods, such as repeating unrelated phrases, to manipulate the relevance or prominence of resources indexed by a search engine, in a manner inconsistent with the purpose of the indexing system...

...This involves the calculated placement of keywords within a page to raise the keyword count, variety, and density of the page. This is useful to make a page appear to be relevant for a web crawler in a way that makes it more likely to be found.

RR needs to add a reason for flagging to their flag system. Sometimes people see different things.

I've tried to explain some of Google's terms to no avail only because RR is bound by them. All our posts are evaluated when they reconsider RR.
14 months ago: With my most sincerely sincere sincerity, I am not against the unemployed and have written so in many posts. I've been unemployed, and down and out. I GET it. I get the fear. I know about the war on poverty.

My above post has nothing to do with anyone on this site personally. I think RR is a unique community. I don't like the hostility I feel from it at times and that's just my truth.

I am not trying to slam PD either. Man, I really wish that he wrote about the EXPERIENCE rather than the "give it to me now" stuff. Saying that doesn't mean I'm against him.

I didn't write either this or the other post w/spite. Too often it is easy to misunderstand someone's true intentions because all we have are words on the page and OUR own personal filters. So, for those thinking this is vindictive or anti-99er, etc., it's not. Not at all.

One way to flag a post with a reason attached would be to post a comment stating your concerns, and flag your own comment. Another way would be through the "contact this author" section.
I think the first method would be the more honest and straightforward.
15 months ago: sunny2,

The harder the battle, the sweeter the victory.

99ers are fighting a War on Poverty, and are being attacked from many angles - financial, personal, spiritual, emotional, physical, social. We must learn to shield ourselves from the non-stop onslaughts, or we will die.

I'm glad that you decided to stay here at Rant Rave and fight the good fight.

markbyrn,

Thank you.

Internet bastions of free speech like Rant Rave could never exist without stalwart defenders.

aschott,

Your letters may not have been answered, but they were certainly counted.

All Americans need to be aware of the huge numbers of 99ers currently suffering all across our nation.

Eventually, the sheer number of 99ers will frighten the "O"bom(bast)a administration into providing a Tier 5 Unemployment Benefits extension.

Right now I am trying to finish up this course which takes about a year. It would be good to have UI benefits just to make it a little easier. I tend to agree with PD that the harder the battle, the sweeter the victory. Maybe someone will be victorious for us. I hope so.

So many others are trying to bring this to the forefront and make it a real issue. Instead of griping about what should be part of the budget, include us and make sure that we get the jobs and the help we need. If we die off then where does the rich get their money. Congress is not going to give up their money to give to the rich. Maybe they need to understand that.

Tens of thousands of unemployed Americans could be hired instantly to clean up our cities, streets and highways.

Tens of thousands more could be hired to guard our national borders.

There would be no need for welfare or unemployment benefits if the current administration would address immediate problems and hire people at living wages to fix them.

sunny2,

Sad to say, but you're right - they certainly do know what they're doing, and they're laughing all the way to the bank.

Funny how a few skipped meals will change someone's perspective on what is demeaning and what is not. It won't be long before those same people will be calling for a revival of the CCCP.

Greed is really blinding. Nothing positive can come from their self-centered ways. I listen to these politicians in disbelief. It's as if they don't see our Country as unified anymore, and they are taking it down piece by piece to benefit themselves while eliminating everything meaningful to the people.
It seems there is a noticable wall beginning to divide the Government from the American people that they are strategically constructing. It seems to me to be: Divide and Conquer.

Religion
Politics
Economics
Scientific theory
Philosophy
Race
Age
Gender
Education

Do you think it is any surprise that the lines being drawn divide the country into nearly equal parts? There is just enough margin to get one thing done, then when the shift in momentum comes, very little change will be needed to make things swing the other way. The money men are making money no matter which way the pendulum swings.

Look at the 2008 elections, and how close the margins were. Look at the approval rates for all the major legislation. Americans are being manipulated into carefully controlled groups, and percentages. And anyone who knows anything about finance knows that is where the money is: In the percentages.

Anyone who is oblivious of today's problems and concerns to what is going on around them will be controlled at this point. The employed are made to feel lucky and resourceful and everyone else is labeled a failure. So, they throw rocks at their fellow American. When the Country falls on it's face, let's see who they blame. By the way, that list is a perfect example.

14 months ago: Sunny I am fighting with State Civil Service and the Welfare system because I can only get food stamps right now. I asked why I could not get cash assistance and they told me that you need to be disabled. I don't fit into that mold so therefore I can not get cash to pay bills and keep my home. What can I do with food stamps except to eat, but if I don't have a car to get the food it does me no good. The government never thinks ahead.

14 months ago: Seems they are causing you emotional distress. Aschott, I don't think from my experience that they care about anyone. I had to fight tooth and nail to go to a school to learn something new. I found they are from the land of "no". If you can, go back to school. I don't know what to tell you. The Government does not care whether people live or die. You have to remember that. Sometimes it makes you fight harder to survive. Can you get a car from Catholic charities?

From what I'm seeing going on in Wisconsin, this is just the beginning of our rights being taken away. At least people are turning out to protest and support their cause.
14 months ago: Out Of The Box,

Prime-time television is the most powerful mass mind control technique currently known to man.

Viewing synchronized flashing sequences of two-dimensional images forces the human mind into a sub-sleep state wherein the viewer is extremely open to hypnotic suggestion.

Millions of Americans are living their lives under this effect, in a sense automatons simply following the orders and opinions of the fictional characters portrayed in their favorite TV programs.

sunny2,

Rampant racism towards 99ers is becoming more vioelnt, and more public. In fact, many anti-99ers have publically harassed and threatened 99ers (myself included) right here on Rant Rave for the whole world to see.

14 months ago: PD - You ask yourself why everyone is being pitted against each other. It is very sad. They can say what they want, but we defend ourselves and give them a run for their money. I think we are tough enough to give it back to them. I think most of them are Republicans that do this to provoke us. You wonder where decency comes in anymore. You wonder why they would try to demean people who are surviving in the worse economy in our lifetime. These offenders of the 99ers/unemployed, I believe their motive is to stop Tier 5 or any assistance or even sympathy toward us. I think they show their greed and self absorption for media attention. Let's say to their ignorance, "bring it on." Also, what gets me are these so called manufacturing companies that the Government talks about that are coming back which are actually sweat shops and not safe to work in. They treat people bad because they know it isn't easy to get a good job. If you are a 99er and thinking you are lucky to find a job, it can turn out to be a nightmare because of the time out of work. I don't know what happened to our President and the Democratic Party, but they aren't there for us. Last night that broadcast on television showing the Governor of Wisconsin for what he is was brilliant. You can see it is an out and out conspiracy to overthrow Americans.
On the comment about television, some isn't bad. I think it brings political awareness in the World to people on certain broadcast. People that I've met who never watch tv, or the news, really don't have a clue to what is going on. They live on the dark side of the world.

14 months ago: I never watch the news on TV. I may watch an hour/week of regular programming. But what I do know is that teachers in Wisconsin, thanks to the Union, are bankrupting the state.

It comes down to a few choices.
1) Raise taxes on everyone in Wisconsin so that government workers (teachers, etc.) can continue to enjoy their high pay scale.

2) Eliminate enough government jobs to allow the ones remaining to continue their high salaries and benefits.

3) Adjust benefit packages to be more in line with what the state can afford.

The teachers union members are playing dice, hoping that their job isn't the one needed to be axed when the state can no longer afford to pay them all and has to start laying off thousands of teachers.
sunny2

14 months ago: Box - I agree that changes have to be brought about on all sides so that people will continue to have jobs, and it will be affordable. To layoff 6,000 people isn't going to solve this. If they allowed everything to go wild and didn't do anything about it before, people are still going to get the bad end of it and dumped on. No one is entirely innocent here. The Governor is playing the people for his own reasons and through problems like this corruption arises. His plan is to use his methods to perpetrate other States which will be harmful. You can't take the Unions away. It will go back to the 1930's all over again. Then you will see violence errupt.

You can lose a job very quickly for no reason. When you start limiting power, it is only the beginning of the end. I think above all common sense has to be used to bargain if anything goes over the top. That's where it should be fixed. There are two sides to everything. Everything has to be done in moderation.

When they gave incentives to the rich in Wisconsin and then said that the rich create jobs, I wanted to scream. When are people going to get it right. The rich are not in the business of creating jobs.
14 months ago: Having traveled to a couple of the Mayan ruins, Chichen Itza and Uxmal and studying a little bit about the Maya I can say almost for certain that they did not predict the death of the 99'ers. Nor did they predict the end of the world in 2012, it was just the end of that calendar cycle.

Also the "perpetrators of the first Holocaust" would have been the Nazi's who collected the Jews to be sent off to the death camps and would not have been the ones who looked the other way. To compare the 99'ers to the Holocaust is a shame and nothing more than hyperbole to attract attention.

There is NO Tier V coming, so get over it. IF and this is just to play Devil's Advocate, IF there was a Tier V it would only add a few more weeks of unemployment, NOT solve the problem. It only delays the inevitable not make it go away. 99'ers need to control their own destiny and not hope to rely of the Government.
14 months ago: sunny2,

By fueling animosity between employed and unemployed Americans, the nameless puppet-masters who silently control our financial destinies are weakening the citizens of the United States by stealing our time and draining our energy.

The 99er dilemma cannot be ignored, especially by the employed. Currently employed Americans need to speak on our behalf, so that 99ers do not die this winter.

All employed Americans need to speak positively about 99ers, or the economic disaster that we are living in will never end.

Out Of The Box,

Money is an illusion. Death is a reality.

The events in Wisconsin are merely America's version of the protests in the Middle East. This is only the beginning.

aschott,

In 2001, the Patriot Act effectively stripped all Americans of their rights.

The only real right that any of us have any more is the right to breathe. Virtually every other human act is regulated in the United States.

We are in a big mess. These jobs that they say are out there, if you get one, you find that they aren't doing well in this economy. These small companies are struggling to keep alive and taking down their employees with them. It is like a double whammy. This is what had happened to me after my 10 -year job was outsourced. The Government isn't doing right by us. I hope there is some relief soon. It is a very depressing situation that there seems to be no end to. I worry about my family. Like the majority of hardworking people, they go out and contribute and do what they are suppose to do but have to give up everything they ever gained for this economy and hold on at the same time. I don't like that Obama is not showing his strength. I don't believe we can expect him to in the coming months. I think there is more going on than meets the eye.

99ers (and most ordinary Americans) have had their rights ripped out of them like the victims of the ancient Maya sacrifices had their hearts ripped out of them in temples all across the Yucatan.

The recently unearthed ancient Maya stele predicted that this would happen.
